My Instagram account was hacked. Tonight I’m grateful that I really don’t care and that – as far as I know – no other of my online accounts were hacked. I had to spend some time today cleaning up the changes to my Instagram profile and removing the hundreds of accounts my account was now following. I also changed a bunch of my passwords, in case someone tried to used those identical credentials elsewhere. A little annoying, but really no big deal.
I’m also grateful for the progress I made today on a few technical mods and a bit of troubleshooting that turned out to be easy.
And I’m lastly grateful that the church service tonight went very well.
I’m grateful tonight that a big planning meeting I ran this afternoon went very well. This was the first in a series of similar meetings that a large group will be holding every two weeks, and I was a bit concerned that it may not go well. So even thought there were over a dozen people I attendance, I think the meeting went very well and the results were very good.
I’m grateful tonight that my first day back at work after vacation was relatively calm and productive. And I’m also grateful that we have flights for our next vacation booked already – something to look forward to!
Tonight I’m grateful for several things, but mostly I’m grateful that Ruth is home from Florida safe and sound. I’m grateful her flight was on time, the weather was good on both ends of her trip, there were no issues dropping off the rental car, and my airport pickup was smooth.
And since today is Annabelle’s second birthday, I’m also feeling very grateful for my granddaughter tonight. It’s great to have the opportunity to watch her grow up, living right here with us – even though it’s been a ton of work and responsibility for Ruth.
Finally, I’m grateful that the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning won Super Bowl 50 tonight.
I’m grateful tonight for our home, and for the opportunity to have a quiet day at home to enjoy it.
As difficult as it was to leave sunny Florida, I’m grateful that my trip home was without incident. A few inches of snow fell in the New York area this morning, so the plane left Westchester Airport a little late, and made my flight about an hour late. But apparently the roads were horrible during rush hour this morning, so all in all the impact of that storm was pretty minor for me. I had a few inches of snow to shovel on the driveway, but I doubt that it took me more than about 10 minutes. So I’m grateful tonight for a smooth trip home – even though I’m missing Florida already.
I’m feeling so grateful tonight for the Palm Island resort and for having another opportunity to spent more vacation here. We were fortunate to (mostly) have great weather, and being here right after a blizzard hit home makes it even more special. I am so happy we invested in the quarter share condo, and that we can come down so often to enjoy it. Thank you Palm Island for giving Ruth and me another great vacation!
